Club member Lori Fitz will share her experiences designing both family gardens and public sites in the city planted and maintained by the Somerville Garden Club. She will address the factors impacting a design for your property, including personal taste, soil type and other practical considerations, and creating a high or low maintenance garden.
The Somerville Garden Club meets the second Wednesday of every month. Each meeting consists of a plant question and answer segment, a feature lecture or demonstration, and a raffle of donated plants and garden items. All meetings are free and the public is invited to attend. Parking is available, and the TAB is a ten-minute walk from the Davis Square MBTA stop.
