Rhythm of the Nile: Music and Songs from Egypt

The Tufts University Department of Music presents The Rhythm of the Nile: Music and Songs from Egypt as part of the Sunday at Tufts – Community Concert Series. Under the direction of Kareem Roustom, the performance will feature Tufts Takht, the Arab music ensemble performing the music of Mohammad Abdel Wahab, Ahmad Fou’ad Hassan, and Umm Kulthum. The concert will feature guest artists Kareem Azab, voice; Dr. Ann Lucas, nay; and Beth Bahia Cohen, violin and rabab. Distler Performance Hall. Free, No Tickets Required
