The Ancient Silk Road - Journey Across Central Asia

Join Barry Pell for a cultural and photgraphic tour of Central Asia. Balancing his training in photography/ photojournalism, his love of travel, and concern for the environment, Mr. Pell uses photography and interactive dialogue to educate people about the rich cultures and challenging lifestyles of developing nations. The presentation will be followed by a question and answer period.

Barry Pell is a world traveler and photojournalist. He has traveled widely over the past 40 years, visiting and documenting landscapes and cultures in 155 countries. Mr. Pell also lived and traveled in China for two years and in eastern Europe for one year. He currently lectures on international cultures at schools, universities and institutions in the Boston area.
