Tool Training: Basic Electronics Tools

Description:

If you already know what you want to build and you just want to learn how to use the tools you need safely (or if you just want a refresher), Tool Training sessions are for you. Classes are kept small so each student gets a lot of personal attention, and each training session is themed for a certain set of tools - just take the sessions you need to get going.

This training session is called Basic Electronics Tools. It serves as an introduction to all of the basic equipment in the electronics shop at Artisan's Asylum, including wire cutters, soldering stations, board vises, multimeters, stereoscopes, the electronics bandsaw, ESD mats and more.

Please note that Tool Training classes do not provide significant practice with each tool, nor do they discuss any advanced techniques. To learn how to use the tools at anything other than an introductory level, please take a look at our technique classes.
