UMass Club Iron Chef Competition

When: Tuesday, April 17, 2012            Where: UMass Club

(Boston) On Tuesday, April 17, 2012 from 5:30-7:30 pm the UMass Club will be hosting an Iron Chef Competition located in Boston’s financial district.

The competition features three contestants: UMass President Robert Caret (Robert L. Caret Scholarship Endowment), UMass Boston Chancellor Keith Motley (Paul Robeson Institute for Positive Self Development), and Founding Board of Governor’s Members Gerard O’ Connor (Boston Latin School Association).

Watch as these competitors go head-to-head cooking and preparing their favorite slider burgers in front of attendees. While the contestants are preparing the food, guests will enjoy hors d’ourves with an open bar of beer and wine.

Once the chefs have finished, guests will be able to taste each of their creations and vote for their favorite with cash donations ($1=1 vote). At the end of the evening the contestant with the most votes will be crowned Iron Chef and all proceeds will be donated to their chosen charity.

Tickets are priced at $20 per person and include heavy hors d’ourves, chef tasting, and an open bar.
