URBAN AGRICULTURE SERIES:  WORMS

Why raise worms? These little powerhouse composters churn out beneficial soil amendments with little work, eating up food waste.
Join an informal discussion and skill-share about the benefits and challenges of raising worms (vermiculture) in the city.
This skill-share is part of our urban agriculture series:

Urban Chickens - Sunday May 8 from 2-3:30 pm
Urban Composting Workshops - Saturday May 14 and Saturday June 25 from 12-1 pm
Urban Worms - Saturday May 14 from 2 pm - 3pm
Urban Birds - Sunday May 29 from 2-3:30 pm
Urban Bees - date and time to be announced
Contact the Growing Center if you would like to sign up to skill-share at urban chickens, worms, birds or bees.  We are grateful to lovers of these magnificent creatures for participating and sharing their experience and wisdom.
