Once a month the ever-active folks at Sprout host a spaghetti dinner that is as much food for thought as it is for your tummy. A science and culture community education center, Sprout serves up pasta with eclectic art performances and discussions at these dinners. Tonight's event includes performance art, youth-made video screenings and a show-and-tell of art projects that sprout students have made using math concepts and computers. It's that generous time of year, and Johnny D's makes it especially easy to donate to a good cause tonight—and have some fun. Chandler Travis and His Philharmonic host their Annual Holiday Extravaganza to support the Somerville Homeless Coalition tonight.
