Gov. Baker Named Somerville Chamber Dinner's Keynote Speaker
The Somerville Chamber of Commerce will hold its 71st Annual Dinner and Powderhouse Awards Nov. 8.

SOMERVILLE, MA – Gov. Charlie Baker will deliver the keynote address at the Somerville Chamber of Commerce 71st annual Dinner & Powderhouse Awards on Nov. 8. The annual event, hosted by the chamber board of directors, gathers Somerville's business, civic and community leaders and highlights economic accomplishments within the community. The chamber has been involved with the redevelopment of Assembly Square, the Green Line Extension project and planning and zoning initiatives in several neighborhoods; it also produces business community networking events such as Business After Hours and the Taste of Somerville.
The dinner and awards ceremony will begin Nov. 8 at 5:30 p.m. at the Holiday Inn, 30 Washington St. Tickets are $100 per person for Chamber Members or $800 per table of eight guests. Non-member tickets are $150 per person or $1200 for a table of eight guests.
