ICYMI: Somerville's Argenziano Playground Ribbon Cutting Slated for Monday
The recently renovated school playground will be unveiled Sept. 12 at a ceremony for kids to test out the new equipment.
SOMERVILLE, MA – Somerville will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony Monday for its newly renovated Argenziano School Playground.
Mayor Joseph Curtatone, as well as Ward 2 Alderman Maryann Heuston and Somerville Public Schools Superintendent Mary Skipper, will be on hand to unveil the new equipment ahead of the schoolyard Olympics.
Refereed by Curtatone, Heuston and Skipper, the Olympics will give kids the opportunity to test out the new playground in a fun, friendly environment.

Following a brief speaking program, there will be a performance by the Argenziano chorus. The ceremony will begin Mon., Sept. 12 at 2:45 p.m. at 290 Washington St.
