More Than Half Of Somerville Voters Turn Out For Election
See how the city voted in the 2018 midterm election.

SOMERVILLE, MA – More than half of registered voters in Somerville turned out to the polls Tuesday, voting overwhelmingly in favor of blue candidates. A little over 64 percent of eligible voters, or 35,233 voters, cast ballots on election day.
Voters voted against question 1, 19,418-14,267. Meanwhile they were major proponents of Questions 2 and 3, voting 30,032-4,136 in favor of Question 2 and 30,517-3,886 in favor of Question 3.
Sen. Elizabeth Warren coasted to victory over Republican Geoff Diehl 30,340-3,638, though Somerville deviated from the rest of the state in the governor's race. Gov. Charlie Baker received 12,162 votes, while his Democratic challenger Jay Gonzalez received 22,353.
