Pop-Up Launches Fundraising Campaign For Upcoming Union Square Restaurant

Field & Vine, a concept from pop-up Company Picnic, has secured the permits and licenses necessary to take over the Journeyman space.

SOMERVILLE, MA – A local pop-up is set to open its first brick-and-mortar restaurant in the former Journeyman space in Union Square. Field & Vine, a concept from Company Picnic, is steps away from making its permanent home at 9 Sanborn Court, according to Eater Boston.

Now that the menu is finalized and licenses and permits are secured, the team behind Field & Vine has launched a Kickstarter campaign to assist in buying the best food and beverage choices from across New England. The campaign promises sustainably sourced ingredients and seasonal menus featuring food made from scratch.

"Our mission is to create a dining experience committed to the natural world," co-owners Andrew Brady and Sara Markey wrote on their Kickstarter page.
