Prospect Hill Tower Ribbon Cutting Moved to Tuesday
The ceremony to mark the building's reopening has been postponed due to expected poor weather.

SOMERVILLE, MA – The ribbon cutting ceremony at Somerville's Prospect Hill Tower has been postponed to Tuesday in light of expected thunderstorms.
Join Mayor Joseph Curtatone, Ward 3 Alderman Robert J. McWatters, the Community Preservation Committee and Community Preservation Act project implementers tomorrow at 5:30 p.m. to celebrate the reopening of the landmark.
The Prospect Hill Tower rehabilitation is the first project to be completed with Somerville CPA funds. Tuesday's ceremony will begin with a short speaking program, followed by the opportunity to climb the tower and learn the history of Prospect Hill.
