RESULTS: State Sen., 2nd Middlesex District
Democratic incumbent State Sen. Pat Jehlen and Republican challenger Robert Cappucci were on the ballot.

Democratic incumbent State Sen. Pat Jehlen defeated Republican challenger Robert Cappucci by a wide margin to retain her 2nd Middlesex District seat.
According to preliminary results, Jehlen received over 70 percent of the vote.
