Schedule Of Green Line Extension Bridge Closures Announced

SOMERVILLE, MA – MassDOT has announced the first of three major bridge closures scheduled for this year. The Broadway bridge at Ball Square on the Somerville-Medford border will close March 22 and remain closed until March 2020.

The Washington Street bridge underpass in East Somerville will close in April and reopen this fall. It will close again from spring to fall 2020. The Medford Street bridge at Gilman Square will close this July and remain closed until spring 2020.
