Somervile Homeless Coalition Annual Dinner

The Somerville Homeless Coalition held their annual dinner recently at the Arts at the Armory with 300 attending.  Honored was Carla DeLellis, owner of Johnny D's, pictured above with her children and aunts, the Nave Gallery for their community partnership, and Nina Siciliano, manager of Project SOUP, with the Coalition's employee recognition award.  The dinner included food from Redbones, a silent auction, and dancing to the music of Booty Vortex, a favorite band at Johnny D's.  Carla, in her remarks, said, "It takes a Somervillage" to address issues like hunger and homelessness -- and we couldn't agree with her more.
