Somerville To Dish On New Bike, Pedestrian Work

Mayor Curtatone invites residents to an announcement about the future of mobility and safety on Wednesday, Sept. 6.

SOMERVILLE, MA – The following is a press release from the City of Somerville.

Join Mayor Joseph Curtatone Wednesday, September 6, at 9 a.m. in Union Square Plaza for an important announcement regarding the future of multi-modal mobility and safety in Somerville.

Residents are also invited to attend a brief informational “Walk and Talk” where City Traffic and Infrastructure staff will lead a conversation around newly installed bicycle and pedestrian infrastructure in the area. The talk will leave from Union Square Plaza immediately following the announcement.

Later that day, Mayor Curtatone will be presenting at the Somerville Bicycle Committee’s Monthly Bike
Talk Social Hour at 6:30 p.m. at Aeronaut Brewing Company, 14 Tyler St. All are welcome to attend.
