Somerville Eatery Makes Nationwide 'Best New Restaurants' List

SOMERVILLE, MA – A local eatery is one of the 20 best new restaurants in America, according to Esquire. The publication released its annual roundup of the top spots across the country that debuted this year, and one Bow Street joint made the cut.

Peruvian restaurant Celeste ranked No. 5 on Esquire's list. The publication cited the eatery's ambiance – "hospitality and home entertaining merge into an instant and intimate bash" – as well as chef and filmmaker (and apparent Renaissance man) JuanMa Calderón's ceviches and causas that "radiate flavor and soul."

The experience will leave you wondering if you're still in Massachusetts or if you walked through a "magic Andean portal," according to Esquire.
