Somerville Election 2017: Who Is Running For Office?
The last day to draw papers was Wednesday. Here's the final list of candidates for Nov. 7.

SOMERVILLE, MA – The City of Somerville has released the final list of candidates for the 2017 general election on Nov. 7. Wednesday was the deadline for submitting nomination petition signatures, and the following candidates have qualified for the ballot.
Two candidates have pulled papers to challenge Mayor Curtatone. A preliminary election will be held Sept. 19, and the top two finishers will face off in the general election. The School Committee in Ward 1 will also hold a preliminary election.
