More than 140 students worked on the 49 videos in the contest, and the winning video debuted on New England Cable News This Morning. The video finalists were chosen by school personnel, law enforcement officials and the staff of Middlesex Partnerships for Youth.
More than 3,000 Middlesex County students then watched the five finalist videos and voted for the winner.
Other school finalists included:
- International School of Boston, Cambridge
- Melrose High School
- Nashoba Valley Technical High School, Westford
The “I’m Worth More” theme lets students explore healthy relationships, focus on self-respect in dating relationships and recognize unhealthy relationships. The project was created by Middlesex Partnerships for Youth.
