Somerville Mayor Finalizes Executive Team
The group is made up of eight appointees.
SOMERVILLE, MA — Mayor Jake Wilson announced that his Executive Office Team roster has been completed, with the final two hires made this week. Wilson appointed eight people to make up a cabinet of positions who will work to fulfill his mayoral agenda, in which he will act as the chief executive officer.
City Clerk Kimberly Wells has been named Wilson’s Chief Administrative Officer. She holds degrees in Political Science from Suffolk University and Saint Michael’s College, Conflict Resolution from UMass Boston, and a Paralegal Certificate from Boston University. She is currently working toward a Doctor of Education from Northeastern University.
Wels began serving in local government in 2019 when she became the Assistant Clerk of Committees in 2019. Two years later, she was appointed to her current role of City Clerk.

Sarah Anders comes over from neighboring Boston to serve as the administration’s Chief of Staff. The University of Vermont alumna held the same position in Boston where she oversaw more than 800 people in the transportation and public works departments. Her resume also includes working as Communications Director for Boston Mayor Michelle Wu’s campaign in 2021.
Director of Somerville’s Department of Racial and Social Justice Amanda Nagim-Williams has been appointed as the Intergovernmental Affairs Director. Nagim-Williams holds a Juris Doctor degree from the Roger Williams University School of Law and first started working for the city in 2022.

“Amanda (Nagim-Williams) is a versatile legal professional with broad public sector experience, spanning higher education, public interest advocacy, municipal government, and judicial chambers bringing a well-rounded perspective to complex legal and policy issues,” Wilson said.
Brenna Broderick has been tapped as the Community Partnerships Liaison. Broderick, who also has Harvard education experience, earning a Master’s in Global Development Practice. She was previously part of both Wilson’s campaign and transition teams the helped get him elected and take over for former mayor Katjana Ballantyne.
Jesse Moos will be growing his 16-year resume of public service with his new role as Wilson’s Public Liaison. He began his Somerville career in Constituent Services in which he oversought major development projects in multiple neighborhoods. He has staffed the City’s Memorialization Committee and has been on the Board of the Somerville Media Center since 2020.
Karen Bridge and Midalys Rosario were both named Executive Administrative Assistants. According to Wilson, Bridge has 25 years of administrative leadership in many professional fields such as healthcare, defense, higher education, nonprofit. Meanwhile, Rosario was part of the previous administration’s staff and is maintaining the role he has had since 2024.
Legislative Liaison Yasmine Raddassi was also part of Ballantyne’s administration, having been appointed in February of last year.
Wilson described his new appointees as a a group of motivated public servants with a laser focus on making life better for the Somerville community.
““The first step of doing the work we want to do is building the team. And these team members all have proven track records of delivering for people and a strong public-service mindset,” Wilson said. “I’m so happy to welcome them and deliver on the work.”
