Somerville Olympics Happening Thursday

Opening ceremonies, including an Olympic flame, will start at 6 p.m.

Somerville is hosting it's own local Olympics Thursday, according to an email from the , which is sponsoring the athletic event.

Where: Trum Field Broadway Somerville

Details: Sunsetter performers open at 5:30pm

Opening ceremonies commence at 6:00pm

This fun evening includes a parade led by the Sheriffs Department and Somerville Fire & Police Guards. Olympic flame ceremony with team track & field events followed by awards.
