Somerville Restaurant Unique To Area Shuts Down

A restaurant that served fare unique to greater Boston shut down after nearly 20 years in Somerville.

SOMERVILLE, MA — A local restaurant that sold a type of food unique to greater Boston has shut down. Sabur, which focused on Balkan cuisine, has closed after nearly 20 years in Teele Square, according to Boston Restaurant Talk.

The restaurant closed in the spring for renovations, but that sign has since been taken down and the space is being worked on, Boston Restaurant Talk reported.

Sabur offered a myriad of Mediterranean items like slow roasted lamb, beet risotto, shrimp wrapped in vine leaves and more. It was located at 212 Holland St.
