At 3:30 p.m., State Police queried the Jeep’s license plate and noticed it was stolen. After spotting police cruisers, the stolen vehicle turned onto Lombardi way. Police believe that the Jeep went off the road and struck a man who was walking in the median.
The victim has been identified as a 26-year-old man from Somerville who’s name is not being released. The man was taken to Massachusetts General Hospital for serious but not life-threatening injuries.
The collision is still under investigation, and the two suspects will be arraigned in Somerville District Court early this week, according to Procopio.
