Somerville Woman Charged with Drunk Driving After Arlington Crash
The crash occurred Monday evening.

A Somerville woman was arrested and charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence after rear ending a car in East Arlington Monday evening, according to police.
Danni P. Mahoney, 36, of Conwell Avenue, Somerville, rear ended a car, which was stopped at the red light at Warren and River streets, police said.
Mahoney was arrested after she appeared to be intoxicated and failed field sobriety tests, police said. She was charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence (first offense), unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, operating an unregistered motor vehicle and following too closely.

No one was injured in the crash, police said. An officer located three nips of rum, two nearly empty, in Mahoney’s jacket, according to police.
