Tavern in the Square Celebrates Ten Year Anniversary with a Special Guest Appreciation Month

Partners Joey Arcari, Renato Valentim, Stephen DeSousa, and Mark Morris team up with Chef Paul Booras to invite guests into select Tavern in the Square locations for a Guest Appreciation Month featuring exclusive food and drink specials in celebration of Tavern in the Square’s 10 year anniversary.

In 2004, Partners Joey Arcari, Renato Valentim, Stephen DeSousa, and Mark Morris opened the doors of the first Tavern in the Square location and since, have successfully grown Tavern in the Square to eight locations across Massachusetts. Tavern in the Square remains locally owned and operated, and takes pride in showcasing fresh menu selections that are inspired by comfort food that is carefully crafted by passionate chefs. The Tavern in the Square partners and Chef Paul Booras are inviting guests into the Allston, Central Square, Porter Square, and Salem locations throughout the month of December to celebrate their special 10 year anniversary with a Guest Appreciation Month, featuring exclusive specials on food and drink as well as fun weekday features like Make Your Own Make and Cheese Mondays, and more.

Guest Appreciation Month specials will run throughout December 31 and are as follows:

• Guests can choose from a variety of Drink Specials from Tavern’s wide variety of beers for $3.00 or wine/cocktails like the Candied Pear cocktail with Absolut Citrus, Liquor 43, and pear nectar with a splash of ginger ale for $4.00.

• Featured Lunch Specials from Tavern’s lunch selections including the Maple Roasted Turkey Sandwich with hand-carved maple glazed turkey breast, cheddar, avocado,greens, cranberry mayo on sliced multi-grain; Cobb Salad; or Chipotle Chicken Quesadilla with tender braised chicken, sliced avocado, jack cheese, house-made salsa, cilantro, and sour cream paired with a choice of coffee, tea, or soda for$9.99.

• Weekday specials will include a Create Your Own Mac & Cheese Monday where guests can tap into their inner chef by customizing their own Mac & Cheese dish with delicious additions like bacon, pulled pork, veggies, buffalo chicken and more for $9.99; Pitcher and Pizza Tuesdays where guests can buy a pitcher of Tavern’s wide selection of brews and get a pizza of their choice for $5.00 like Tavern’sMelanzane Pizza with grilled eggplant, imported San Marzano tomatoes, whipped ricotta, and basil pesto; Wing Wednesdays where guests can pair their favorite domestic draught with an order of wings like Tavern’s signature Angry Ale Wingscoasted with a spicy beer glaze for $19.99; and Tavern Burger and Beer Thursdays where guests can indulge in a juicy Tavern Burger and a domestic draught of their choice for $9.99.
