Authorities are searching for a pickup truck they believe hit two women in a crosswalk Friday evening.

SOMERVILLE, MA – A Somerville woman has been identified as the victim of a fatal hit-and-run Friday evening. Allison Donovan, 40, was struck in the crosswalk at the intersection of Powderhouse Boulevard and Hardan Road around 7:16 p.m., according to the Middlesex District Attorney's Office.

She was taken to Mount Auburn Hospital, where she was pronounced dead. Another woman was hit and sustained non-life-threatening injuries. She has since been released from the hospital, according to the DA.

The vehicle believed to be involved is a newer model, full-size black pickup truck with front-end driver's side damage, the DA's office said. There is a black cover over the bed of the truck, which is possibly a Ford F-150.
