What's Next For Davis Square? Somerville Meeting To Discuss
Updates to the Davis Square Neighborhood Plan, which first started to take shape in 2013, will be shared with residents at a meeting Monday.

SOMERVILLE, MA – The Somerville Planning Department will update residents on the Davis Square Neighborhood Plan and discuss the next steps in shaping its future. The meeting will begin with an update and move on to a Round Robin style of discussion, which asks participants to propose topics for small group discussions.
The city says this style will allow participants to set the agenda for the night and shape topics for the next meeting on Oct. 19. This meeting will take a deeper dive into the community-selected topics and identify actions to address the goals and needs. Resources and experts will be brought in to facilitate discussions.
Topics may include open space, traffic, parking, accessibility, streetscape, bicycle infrastructure, housing and more. The first meeting will be Monday, Sept. 25 from 6-8 p.m. at the Tufts Administration Building, 167 Holland Street, in the second floor senior center.
