Win a Prize: Fluff Creativity Contest

To get people geared up for the sixth annual Fluff Festival, a local blogger is hosting a Fluff contest.

Why do you love Marshmallow Fluff?

And, yes, there is a right or wrong answer to that question.

More accurately, if your answer is sincere, interesting, moving, funny, fun or, generally, creative enough, it could win you a prize.

Gearing up for Fluff Fest

It's all part of the "Show Us Your Fluff" contest run by wickedgoodtravel, a local blog. The contest is in anticipation of the sixth annual , being held Sept. 24 in Union Square.

The festival honors the creator of Marshmallow Fluff, Archibald Query, who invented the stuff in Union Square in 1917. This year, the festival will be graced by the presence Susan Olsen, who played Cindy Brady on the Brady Bunch and who's recently been working on Fluff-inspired digital art.

Why do you love Fluff?

The blog is seeking unique Fluff recipes, but also short prose, poems, videos and haikus that exhibit how much each contestant loves Marshmallow Fluff.

Winners will walk home with the above-mentioned prizes, and we will feature the winners and their entries on Somerville Patch.

Check out wickedgoodtravel.com for more information about the contest. People have until Sept. 12 to submit their entries.
