Yearlong GLX Bridge Closure Starts Friday
The Broadway bridge is the first of three closures planned for this year.
SOMERVILLE, MA – The Broadway bridge will close for Green Line construction this Friday, March 22. The closure is the first of three planned for 2019 and is expected to last a year.

Those who use the bridge or take the MBTA 80 or 89 buses in that area are advised to plan new travel routes with these maps and this video. A free shuttle service during the closure is expected to begin March 25.
