Boys & Girls Clubs Announce New Community Programs
Programs for all ages will help all Club members.

STONEHAM/WAKEFIELD, MA.— Since the start of the New Year, the staff of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Stoneham and Wakefield have worked hard to find ways to connect with the community outside of their walls.
Along with hiring new staff, the Boys & Girls Club has dedicated itself to strengthening the communities and building new relationships to bring in new ideas and great programs. With that being said the Boys & Girls is excited to announce that starting the last week of February, they will be launching new programs that will be open to all members of the community!
“Our goal is to simply add programs that would make Stoneham and Wakefield even stronger communities than they already are”, executive director Adam Rodgers states. “We want to work with the community to provide programs, space, workshops, and other activities.”
The Boys & Girls Club plans to offer programs in every aspect possible ranging from Sports & Rec, Music & Arts, Games, and much more. These new programs will be offered to people of all ages, including programs for toddlers as well as for older adults.
Not only will these programs be helping the community but the programs will be helping the Boys & Girls Club as well. On average, $750 dollars is spent on each member to create and implement exciting programs and opportunities but they only charge each member $25 for a school year membership, so the cost of registration for these new programs will directly go back to supporting the current and future members of the Boys & Girls Clubs in Stoneham and Wakefield.
The Boys & Girls Clubs of Stoneham and Wakefield currently will only be offering programs at the Stoneham Club site but is expected to expand to Wakefield in the near future.
