What is Relay for Life?
The American Cancer Society Relay for Life movement is the world’s largest fundraising event to end cancer. With every dollar raised you are helping the American Cancer Society be there for those affected by every cancer in every community. At Relay for Life of Stoneham, community members will come together to honor cancer survivors, remember loved ones lost, and fight back against a disease that has already taken too much.

How does my donation make a difference in the fight against Cancer?
This year will be Stoneham’s sixth annual Relay. In the past six years, Relay for Life of Stoneham has raised over $600,000 for the American Cancer Society. The American Cancer Society puts these donations to work, investing in groundbreaking research in every type of cancer and providing free information and services to cancer patients and their caregivers.

The more Stoneham community members who join us, the more of an impact we can make for cancer patients by helping the American Cancer Society provide programs and services (like support groups, rides to and from treatment, a 24/7 information center, and free lodging near treatment centers) and fund research to help find the next breakthrough. For anyone that worries one person can’t make a difference – raising $100 could provide 10 rides to treatment or night of lodging. Raising $25 could help provide free 24-hour information and support via phone, email, and online chats for one person.
How can I be involved?
