“I am proud that we ran an honest, ambitious, progressive and voter outreach-focused campaign for this seat, and I am excited to join the committee in the hard work of setting school policy and advocating for our students. I look forward to my first School Committee meeting on Thursday, where I will join my new colleagues in discussing the warrant articles for May Town Meeting.

“I would like to thank my opponents, Jaime, George and Cory, for a race well-run. I feel that the School Committee campaigns were positive, issue-oriented, and civil, and it was inspiring to see that we all care so deeply about our town’s public schools and our students. Most of all, thank you to all of the family, friends, neighbors and volunteers who worked tirelessly to make this campaign possible. I am proud that Stoneham voters have entrusted me with this responsibility and I am excited to serve our community.”
