Doris Hurcombe Passes Away

Doris J. (Manuel) Hurcombe, of Stoneham, passed away peacefully at the house she was born in on Sunday June 11, surrounded by her family. She was 86 years of age.

Doris was a lifelong resident of Stoneham. She was the daughter of the late Samuel and Lena (Longo) Manuel. She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grand mother, great grandmother and friend. She will be missed by all.

Doris was the beloved wife of the late William H. Hurcombe. She was the devoted mother of William Hurcombe and his wife Joanne, Donna McGowan and her husband Rick, James Hurcombe and his companion Jessie Jenkins. Loving grandmother of Richard McGowan and his wife Luciana, Ryan McGowan and his wife Tina, Jill Terilli and her husband Joseph, William, Charles, James, Jason, Jacob and Jordan Hurcombe. Great grandmother of Mykala, Tyler, William, Josephine, and Matthew. Dear sister of the late Anthony and William DeSano, Benjamin, Domenic, and Joseph Manuel, Margaret Malonson, Mary DiMarco and Elizabeth Donahue. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Doris was the companion of Nicholas Roberto. She will also be missed by her dog.

Funeral from the Barile Family Funeral Home 482 Main St., Stoneham, Thursday June 15th at 9 am followed by a Funeral Mass Celebrating her Eternal Life in St. Patrick's Church 71 Central St. Stoneham at 10 am.

Family and friends are kindly invited to gather and share remembrances with the family on Wednesday June 14th, 2017 from 4-8 pm. Parking attendants and elevator available.
