Dorothy Barrasso Passes Away
Longtime Stoneham resident worked for years at Winchester Hospital.

Dorothy (Malloy) Barrasso passed away on the night of May 8 in Lexington.
She was born on December 4, 1918 in Fall River to William Malloy and Marion (Walbank) Malloy, and spent most of her life in Stoneham. She was the mother of Margaret Ann (Barrasso) Osborne, William Francis Barrasso, and Elizabeth Jean (Barrasso) Blackey, and the grandmother of Derek Osborne, Michael Blackey, and Gregory Blackey. She is mourned by her sons-in-law Leon Osborne and Keith Blackey and William's partner Loren Williams.
She is predeceased by her parents William and Marion Malloy and her siblings Kay, Billy, Frank, Marion, Winifred, Shirley, and Donny.

She enjoyed jazz, and loved her many dogs, including her beloved toy black poodle Toto. She worked at the Winchester Hospital until she was eighty years old, and made many friends there.
A funeral service celebrating Dorothy's Eternal Life will be celebrated at the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main Street, (RT 28) Stoneham, on Saturday, May 13th at 9 am. Interment will follow in Cambridge Cemetery.

Family and friends are invited to gather and share memories on Friday, May 12th from 4 to 7 pm.
