Community Corner

How Our Town Looked from the Trolley Car Window

The general public is invited to the regular monthly meeting of the Stoneham Historical Society. Doors open at 7:15 pm to enjoy the exhibits in the Meeting Hall. There will be a brief business meeting beginning at 7:45 followed by the program. Doug Carrier, volunteer docent from Seashore Trolley Museum will tell us why trolleys even came to Stoneham, what they did for the people of our community. Guests will hear stories handed down from real conductors and operators over the years.

The Stoneham Historical Society is a volunteer group dedicated to "Pride in our past; Faith in our future" since 1922. Please visit  www.stonehamhistory.webs.com to step back in time and find out more about Stoneham's rich legacy.
