As part of the build-up toward our Lenten Mission at the end of March, we will be hosting a Parish Chicken Soup Dinner on Monday evening, March 14 at 7 o'clock in Our Lady of Providence Hall. The dinner will feature home-made chicken soup, corn bread and some surprises. The dinner is free!
Following the dinner, there will be an opportunity for parishioners to ask any questions that they want to ask about the Catholic Church. The questions may pertain to the Universal Church, to the Archdiocese of Boston or Saint Patrick Parish.

Your questions may also address Catholic teachings and practices, such as the upcoming changes in the responses at Mass. You may want to ask for some explanation of certain laws of the Church. The only restriction is that the questions have to pertain to the Catholic Church. No questions on sports or politics! You may voice their questions directly, but we will also provide a "Question Box‟ for anyone who wants to write down a question and submit it anonymously. The whole point of the evening is to provide an opportunity for parishioners to ask the questions about the Catholic Faith that are one their minds.
The members of Parish Pastoral Council will be present for the evening as a privileged opportunity for them to hear the questions and concerns of parishioners that might later provide topics for discussion at Parish Council Meetings. The priests, deacons and other members of the Parish Pastoral Staff will be present to answer questions pertaining to Saint Patrick Parish.
We will be pleased to welcome Monsignor Timothy Moran, pastor of Saint Joseph Parish in Medway to answer your questions on Church teaching in areas such as liturgy, canon law and medical ethics which are areas of personal expertise for Monsignor Moran. This is your opportunity to get accurate answers to questions about the Catholic Church that can sometimes become stumbling blocks to the practice of the faith.
We hope you can join us for our Chicken Soup Supper on March 14. Please call the rectory office (781-438-0960) and leave your name so that we can plan for enough food! Why not invite a family member or friend who has questions about the Catholic Church to come with you?
