Thursday is opening day for the third season of the Stoneham Farmers Market. Every Thursday until Oct. 1 the Town Common will come alive with the best of the season. Everything starts at 2:30 p.m. and runs until 6:30 p.m.Vendors include Arrowhead Farms, Top Shelf Cookies, Carolyn's Farm Kitchen, Tea is the Way, Deano's Pasta, Gaouette Farm, Melissa's Honey Pot, Roma's Bakery, Sugar River Farm meats, and Red's Best seafood. In addition, Curious Creatures will be there Thursday along with music by Scott Damgaard and the featured restaurant will be JJ Grimsby's.It's not all about eating either as there will be local arts and crafts and free kids' activities. Music MAYnia is a free community festival that features continuous live performances, instrument demos, games, arts &amp; crafts, food trucks, and more! Student performers of all ages and abilities will perform a music marathon on four stages, indoors and outdoors, ranging from classical to rock. It’s a popular event that many community members attend—and look forward to—every year. There will also be a sensory-friendly room available this year! Held rain or shine at Winchester Community Music School, 407 Highland Avenue, Winchester, MA.
