Five Guys Burgers and Fries Inch Closer to Opening Stoneham Location
The burger restaurant received conditional approval from the Stoneham Board of Selectmen Tuesday night to open the business in May.
It’s official: has received conditional approval from the Stoneham Board of Selectmen and the restaurant is expected to open its Stoneham location in May.
Massachusetts Burger Enterprises representative Marc Magerman came before the board Tuesday night seeking final approval to open their Five Guys location at Redstone Shopping Center on May 9.
The board unanimously approved the plan contingent on police and fire departments approval, which is still pending and could push back the opening date.

The Stoneham restaurant, located at 87 Main St., is one of 200 Five Guys expected to open this year, according to the company's website. The site also adds that more than 127 million potatoes were used las year and some 350,000 burgers are sold daily.
