The Stoneham Chamber of Commerce, along with Stoneham TV and Rebuilding Rounds Playground, will host their third annual Halloween Trick or Treat Stroll on Saturday, Oct. 27 from 2-4 p.m., according to the chamber's website.
Costumed youngsters, accompanied by adults, can trick or treat in and around Stoneham Square area businesses and participate in fun children’s activities at Stoneham TV, reads the website. Local businesses will be giving out candy to visitors during the Halloween Stroll.
“We plan to include businesses situated in and around Main Street, as well as all of our member businesses who want to participate, even if they aren’t located in the square”, said Cathy Doucet, president of the Stoneham Chamber of Commerce, on the site. “This is a nice opportunity for the kids and adults to walk through the square and see what’s behind the front doors of many of these businesses and for the business owners to meet Stoneham residents.”

Stoneham TV Director Amy Palmerino and Rebuilding Rouds Playground organizer Angelika Paul have been overseeing the planning for the activities at Stoneham TV, 53 Central St. (and just one block from Main Street) where children and adults can “decorate pumpkins, play games and have an opportunity to be video recorded saying ‘You’re watching Stoneham TV’ for later broadcast,” said Palmerino on the site.
The Halloween Stroll is free; however, there is a suggested donation of $5 to participate that will benefit the Rebuilding Rounds Playground cause.
