Toot The Wandering Tortoise Is Found

The owner of Toot NO LONGER needs your help! Toot, a male tortoise missing for a week, has been found in Melrose.

It was living at the Fellsview Terrace Condos on the Stoneham/Melrose line. Owner was searching mainly in Stoneham but he was spotted on Tuesday on West Wyoming Ave in Melrose. The picture was taken by the family when he was seen on Tuesday in their backyard. Toot is about 7" in length. Owner says, "we are hopeful someone knows someone who saw this little runaway!! If you do find him please do not submerge him in water, he is a land animal. He does NOT bite and actually likes to be held."

And, he is now back home.
