Hundreds Expected to Participate in the 5th Annual Relay For Life of Stoneham on June 11-12 at Stoneham High School

Join This Community Event To Help Fight Cancer

Cancer survivors, caregivers, volunteers, and community members will unite on June 11-12 at Stoneham High School for the 5th annual Relay For Life of Stoneham. The Relay For Life movement is the world's largest fundraising event to fight cancer in every community, with four million participants in 6,000 events worldwide in 2015.

Last year, over 550 people participated in Relay For Life of Stoneham and raised over $143,000.

We are currently recruiting teams from local families, businesses, schools, or places of worship. You can start your own team or join an existing team. The more Stoneham community members who join us, the more of an impact we can make for cancer patients by helping the American Cancer Society provide programs and services (like support groups, rides to and from treatment, a 24/7 information center, and free lodging near treatment centers) and fund research to help find the next breakthrough. For anyone who worries that one person can't make a difference- raising just $100 could provide 10 rides to treatment or night of lodging. We hope you can join us!
