Italian Dining Found At Burlington's L'Andana

If you're looking for great Italian food, look no further than this upscale restaurant.

Each week, Stoneham Patch picks a great restaurant either in town or nearby that is worth checking out. Here’s this week’s recommendation:

 – This upscale Italian restaurant is known for its Tuscan-inspired, wood-grilled cuisine.

For starters, try the tuna, hand-cut tartare with mustard chili aioli, radish and sea salt cracker ($18), or sample one of the pastas, such as the tortellini with crab farcito, sweet pumpkin and parmesan crema ($16/$29).

The menu features steaks and seafood cooked on the restaurant’s wood grill. The swordfish with wood-roasted peppers, onions, cured tomato, olives and capers ($29) is a popular dish, as is the prime Tuscan steak, a ribeye with arugula, parmesan, truffle oil and vin cotto ($35).

The menu changes with the seasons and also features an extensive wine list. Chef Jamie Mammano serves big portions, but one look at the dessert menu and you’ll have room for more.
