Linda Earle Passes Away
Moved to Stoneham in 1976 and became an active member of the community.

Linda M. (Rufo) Earle, 69, passed away on Friday, June 23, after a long battle with cancer. She confronted her illness with optimistic determination and unwavering courage. As a survivor, Linda lived each day to the fullest and never took anything for granted. She persevered through adversity and left the legacy of her love, strength and courage to her family.
Born on February 13, 1948, Linda grew up in Malden and was a graduate of Malden High School. She and her husband, Albert Earle, moved to Stoneham in 1976. Linda became an active member of the community. A
loving mother to four sons, Linda dedicated herself to volunteer work at Colonial Park Elementary School, where she worked for 14 years. Linda was also very involved in Stoneham's Cub Scout program. Linda
later became a receptionist at a local tax firm, where she truly enjoyed her work and her colleagues.
Linda loved socializing and keeping in touch with old friends. She enjoyed organizing her class reunions. She brought a smile to all her friends on Walsh Ave. The tight-knit neighborhood was like family, and she cherished the social gatherings, 4th of July parties, and the close friendships she maintained through the decades.

Linda was devoted to her family and found great happiness in the simple things such as family dinners, birthday gatherings and holidays. Linda loved singing and dancing to Kenny Rogers songs, and his concerts brought her such joy. She and her husband were married for 45 years, and she loved her walk through life by his side.
Linda was the beloved wife of Albert W. Earle; the daughter of the late Anthony and Graciella (Constantino) Rufo; loving mother of Bryan Earle, Kevin Earle and his former wife Kerry Lewis, Todd Earle and his
husband Jody Murray and David Earle and his wife Kathryn; grandmother of Emily Earle and Matthew Earle and sister of Robert Rufo and his wife Ann; she was also the aunt to many loving nieces, nephews, and great nieces.

Funeral Services will be held from the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main St. (RT28), Stoneham on Tuesday, June 27th at 9 am followed by a Funeral Mass Celebrating Linda's Eternal Life at St. Patrick's Church, 71 Central Street, Stoneham at 10 am. Interment will be in Lindenwood Cemetery, Stoneham.
Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share memories at the funeral home on Monday, June 26th from 4 to 8 pm.
