Lunch, Massage Deals Found in Stoneham

With the economy still struggling to recover from recessionary levels, saving every dollar possible at local shops and restaurants may be a necessary evil to help make ends meet.

To help readers find ways to save money we'll feature five deals offered by area merchants and establishments in our weekly "Frugal Family" column, which will run every Wednesday.

However, we also want shoppers to contribute to the conversation by posting deals they're familiar with in the comments section below on this column.

Here are some of the latest deals in the area:

1.  

Deal: Is it time to shake things up and try something new in your fitness routine? Try one of L.A. Fitness' complimentary passes and head out to the gym today. 

Good through: Expiration date not available.

2. 

Deal: Looking to get out for the evening? Wednesday night, attend Ladies' Night at the bar lounge area. Ladies receive 20 percent off all entrees/sushi/appetizers/deserts.

Good through: No expiration date.

3. 

Deal: If customers mention the lunch special ad posted on the cafe's website between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m., they can get a sandwich and soup for $10.

Good through: Not available.

4. 

Deal:  For $6.95, the restaurant lets you make your own "lunch box," including miso soup, salad, choice of appetizer, choice of side dish, choice of entrée, and choice of rice or noodles.

Good through: No expiration date.

5. 

Deal: Trying to find a place to sneak in a soothing afternoon massage? On the Valpak website, new Elements clients can receive a 55-minute full body massage for $49 or an 80-minute full body massage for $75.
