Obituary: Steven Palonen, 45

Steven Palonen, of Stoneham, died Monday, Nov. 3.

Beloved son of Stuart and Rose [Tierney] Palonen of Medford. Devoted brother of Debra Barbitta and her husband Andrew of South Carolina, Mark Palonen of Waltham and the late Sonja Odom. Loving nephew of Patricia Tierney, Jean Dognazzi, Richard, Paul, Michael, Timothy Tierney, Candace and the late Robert Tallent of Columbia, South Carolina, Christopher and Carol Palonen of Jewett City, Connecticut, Phillip and Carol Palonen of Canterbury, Connecticut, Geraldine Palonen, and the late Sheila McHugh, Teresa Farmer, Mary Gardner and Gerard Palonen. Also survived by his loving niece Laura Odom, his loving nephews Shawn and Christopher Odom and many dear family and friends.

Relatives and friends invited. A funeral service will be held in the Gaffey Funeral Home, 43 High St., Medford Square, Medford, on Sunday, Nov. 9, from noon to 4 p.m. Interment will be private.
