Pamper Yourself At Beauty And Beyond Skin Care

A facial is a relaxing way to exfoliate, hydrate and restore balance to the skin. Recommended all year round, facials can benefit moms, dads and teens.

A great place to go is , 22 Woburn Street, Reading, where moms can schedule a facial party with 3-10 of their friends at a cost of $45 per person. That price includes a 15-20 minute mini facial. Add refreshments and time to socialize, moms and their friends can enjoy a “relaxing and fun night out,” said Beauty and Beyond Skin Care owner Lisa DeMarco.

DeMarco explained that the mini facial consists of a skin analysis, cleansing and exfoliating of the skin.

"Winter is a good time to schedule a party, not only for the benefits to the skin, but to give moms a pampering experience," she said.

Beauty and Beyond offers an array of treatments and products for the skin, including specialty facials, chemical peels, hair removal, body glows, full body exfoliation and makeup.  

DeMarco explained that it is all about pampering her clients, and her basic facial ($70) includes a hand, foot, shoulder and head massage as well as cleaning, exfoliation and a mask. DeMarco said she consults with clients to determine what type of facial or treatment will be best for their skin.

Beauty and Beyond Skin Care has won several Readers’ Choice Awards, including the 2008 No. 1 Choice Day spa of Reading.

Reservations are needed for the facial parties and are usually scheduled in the evenings the spa is not open.
