Please Join in the Events that Celebrate the First Congregational Church in Stoneham's 175th Anniversary in October 2015

Founded in 1729, the current location of First Church is on the Common in Stoneham and was built in 1840. The Church members, Pastor Merrie Allen, supporters and friends will celebrate with several special events in October.

· Sunday, October 18 there will be a special Commemorative Service, 175 years after the dedication of the 1840 church building. All are welcome to the Service which begins at 10:00 a.m.

· Saturday, October 24, the Church will host an Anniversary Concert at 4:00 p.m., featuring the Boston Saengerfest Men’s Chorus. A contribution of $20 is requested and all funds will go to Preservation Fund to finance the continued upkeep and improvements on this historic building.
