POLICE LOG: Framingham Man Charged With Assaulting Woman in Stoneham

At 12:03 p.m. June 22, Stoneham police responded to a Main Street apartment for an abandonded 911 call. Prior to responding to the apartment, three calls were made by police to the address, with an answering machine picking up each time. Police then went to the apartment and spoke with a female involved in the incident. After the interview, Gary Kidgell, 43, of 24 Myrtle St., Framingham, was arrested and charged with assault and battery.

@6:38 a.m.: Police responded to for a report of a road rage incident. State Police notified. No arrests reported.
@10:36 a.m.: Police called to Oak Street on a report of a small or medium-sized blue vehicle racing up the street. Police couldn't locate the vehicle in the area.

@3:55 p.m.: Police responded to the area of Elm and Main Streets for a report of a motor vehicle accident. Insurance paperwork exchanged. No tows or medical transports reported.
@6:27 p.m.: Police called to Stop & Shop Supermarket for a report of a past larceny. Area police notified, including Everett police.
@9:32 p.m.: Police responded to Rose Lane for a report of a transformer explosion. NSTAR notified.
June 21
@7:45 a.m.: Police responded to the area of Main and William Streets on a report of a tractor-trailer that crashed into a hydrant. DPW notified. Officer to document.
@9:21 a.m.: Police responded to Franklin Street for a report of a motor vehicle crash. No injuries or tows reported.
@12:21 p.m.: Police called to Dansby Road for a report of a motor vehicle crash. Officer to document.
@3:57 p.m.: Police responded to BJ's on Cedar Street for a hit-and-run incident. Caller reported a vehicle backed into his vehicle and did damage to their vehicle and not his. The vehicle left before information could be exchanged. The caller was given an incident number in case the other driver filed an insurance claim.
@5:02 p.m.: Police called to J.J. Grimsby's on West Wyoming Avenue for a report of a motor vehicle accident. State Police handled the accident. No tows or injuries reported.
June 22
@11:23 a.m.: Police responded to the area of Elm and William Streets for a report of a minor motor vehicle accident. No injuries or tows reported.
@1:39 p.m.: Police called to on Main Street for a report of an outside fire. The mulch fire in the median strip was put out.
@2:46 p.m.: Police responded to the area of Main Street and William Street for a report of a motor vehicle accident. No tows or injuries reported.
@8:44 p.m.: Police called to High Street for a report of a malicious vandalism. Graffiti was found on the outside of a home. Police to investigate.
