Collaborative investigations undertaken by task forces and municipal law enforcement officials, like this one, are vital to ensuring that dangerous substances remain off of our streets," Ryan said Tuesday.
"This was a significant drug case for the Stoneham Police Department. Working in conjunction with the Middlesex District Attorney’s Office, we were able to put together a strong case that has resulted in prison time for this suspect," McIntyre said. "The opioid epidemic is felt in every city and town, and while agencies rightly focus efforts on aiding those in its grip, we are hopeful that this case sends a clear message to those who profit from drugs."
