Stoneham Officer Rotondi Honored By Boston Bruins

Rotondi was honored during last night's game at TD Garden.

STONEHAM, MA—First responders from across the greater Boston area were honored by the Boston Bruins during First Responder’s Night at TD Garden.

One such responder was Stoneham Police Officer Sheryl Rotondi, who was credited with saving the life of a 47-year-old man on Oct. 15. Responders were acknowledged throughout the game, with a photo montage on the video board, Zamboni rides, and the opportunity to high-five players as they took the ice.

Upon finding the man in the basement of the Congregational church, Rotondi initiated CPR until paramedics could respond. The hospital later credited Rotondi with saving the man’s life.
